The schedule for the consideration and petition of annexation and rezone for the 166 Edlun property has been set by the City of Grand Junction. Click below for the official annexation maps - two large files as pdfs. Thanks to Pamela McQuirk's excellent research and Jay Krabacher's interpretation of an easement that was recorded in 1886, and affirmed by Mesa County in 1992, we now have a map that clearly shows a route of an "Old Wagon Trail" aligned with what the public uses as the Old Spanish Trail. We believe this is an important document, and while it has been seen and documented by many historians, Jay's map may be unique (other maps may exist but we cannot find them!).
